Terms of Use

By downloading or using Yearlit (also published as "My Year"), you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Yearlit is a personal habit tracker for iPhone, built and maintained by Mykhaylo Tymofyeyev, an independent developer. You get a personal, non-transferable license to use it on Apple devices you own or control.

Everything you track in Yearlit is yours. It is stored on your device and, if you enable iCloud, in your personal iCloud account — see the Privacy Policy for details. You are responsible for the content you store and for keeping your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. The app keeps automatic local backups and can sync through iCloud, but no backup system is guaranteed.

If you post to the in-app feature request board, keep it lawful and respectful, and don't submit personal information. We may remove submissions at our discretion.

Yearlit can display activity metrics from Apple Health and lets you track health-related habits. This is for personal motivation only. The app is not a medical device and provides no medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified professional for health decisions.

Yearlit is free to start. Premium features are unlocked through in-app purchases or auto-renewing subscriptions, billed by Apple through your App Store account.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
• Billing, refunds, and payment disputes are handled by Apple under its terms.

Don't misuse the app: no reverse engineering except where the law allows it, no interfering with the app's services (such as the feature request board), and no unlawful use.

We may update, change, or discontinue the app or any feature at any time. We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page with an updated date; continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data — including habit history — arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under applicable law.
